Script Audit

Our ACS team is suggesting we upgrade to SC+. Before we spend the additional money, we would like to do a script audit to find out if there are scripts running that we no longer need or use. What is the best approach to this? I am not skilled in scripting and just have a basic understanding of them. Are there any companies out there that you have used in a project like this?
