IP Address-based Rules for Outbound Connections Targeted for Deprecation
This notice applies to you or a third-party partner if you use IP address-based rules to attempt to control access from your NetSuite accounts.
NetSuite IP addresses are dynamic and can change at any time. You may not have noticed this in the past, but now it is much more likely that your account will be affected by the dynamic nature of NetSuite IP addresses.
After the release of NetSuite 2021.1, remote services will no longer be able to rely on IP address-based rules to secure communication from NetSuite. Ensure that your applications and integrations with NetSuite do not depend on IP address-based measures as part of your solution. Do not use IP address-based rules in company firewalls or in a service for securing your domain or the service. Be aware of the following:
