New NetSuite WMS System Rule for Bulk Staging

This notice is intended for customers who use the new capabilities available in NetSuite WMS Version 2019.2 and later. This notification is to inform you of the upcoming Enable bulk staging of large pick tasks system rule that enhances outbound staging of large pick tasks.

When Do These Changes Take Effect?

The new Enable bulk staging of large pick tasks system rule is targeted for release in NetSuite WMS Version 2020.2.0.4.a by mid-November.

What is Changing?

The Enable bulk staging of large pick tasks system rule modifies the outbound staging process for warehouse locations that use bins. Instead of directly and synchronously processing the staging of picked items, NetSuite WMS automatically creates and submits bulk processing jobs for large pick tasks and places them in a queue. On your mobile device, a confirmation page appears to inform you that the job has been submitted for processing. You can perform other warehouse processing tasks while bulk staging is in progress.
