Final Reminder: Inbound Single Sign-on Feature Deprecation

This notice is intended for customers who are still using the NetSuite proprietary Inbound Single Sign-on (SSO) feature to access the NetSuite application or to access your web store. The Inbound SSO feature is targeted for deprecation. There are other inbound SSO options available to use for access to NetSuite, such as OpenID Connect (OIDC) Single Sign-on and SAML Single Sign-on.

What is Changing?

The Inbound SSO feature is targeted for deprecation in NetSuite 2021.1. Customers using the Inbound SSO feature should migrate to a different solution before the 2021.1 release. NetSuite 2021.1 is targeted for release from February through April of 2021.

OpenID Connect (OIDC) SSO and SAML SSO are available as alternative inbound SSO solutions. Also, if you use the Inbound SSO feature to access web services, you should consider using the Token-based Authentication (TBA) feature instead. The ssoLogin and mapSso operations are no longer available as of the 2021.1 release.
