Reminder: Change Your 2FA Setup to Use an Authenticator App

This notification is intended for users who are using SMS to receive verification codes for two-factor authentication (2FA) access to NetSuite. These users have a Chinese phone number (the phone number begins with country code 86).

2FA by SMS is not supported for phone numbers beginning with country code 86. Your users must change their 2FA preferences to use an authenticator app as their primary method for receiving verification codes. The authenticator app must support the OATH TOTP standard.

As of June 20, 2021, 2FA by SMS will stop working, for phone numbers that begin with the country code 86. Your users may encounter difficulties when attempting to log in to NetSuite with a role that requires 2FA.
