NSC | Publishing a Saved Search Through the Publish Dashboard to the Employee Center Role
Scenario
The Employee Center is not available when Publishing a Dashboard. An enhancement request is logged under Enhancement #89326. Published Dashboards > Ability to Publish a Dashboard to the Employee Center Role.
In this scenario, the user is trying to publish an Item Saved Search.
Solution
As a workaround, add the Custom Search dashboard to the Employee Center role.
- Navigate to the Employee record > Access subtab > Global Permission sublist
- In Permission > Add Items
- Set Access Level to View
- Click OK
- Click Save
- Login using the Employee Center role
- Navigate to Dashboard
- Click Personalize located at the upper right corner of the page
