NSC | How to Customize the Resource Form
Scenario
The user would like to create custom fields and a custom form to be used in Resources.
The ability to customize the Resource Form is filed under Enhancement #190344.
Solution
As an alternate solution, create a custom record type that resembles the Resource record's purpose, as well as a custom record for the items that will be associated with the Resource custom record type.
- Create a custom record type for Resource through Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types
- Create another custom record type that will represent the items associated to Resources custom record type and will be its child record
