NSC | How to create a Saved Search for the first Purchase Item/s of the first Sale of a Customer?
In a scenario where the user wants to create a Transaction Saved Search that will show all Items purchased for the first time of a Customer.
Here are the steps they may take to create the Saved Search:
1. Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
2. Search Type: Select Customers
3. Title: Enter Name
4. Click Criteria > Standard
5. Add the following filters:
- Transaction Fields… = Type = Invoice, Cash Sale
- Formula (Numeric) = CASE WHEN {firstorderdate}={transaction.trandate} THEN 1 ELSE 0 END
6. Under the Results, add the following fields:
- Name
- Transaction Fields… = Date
- Transaction Fields… = Item
7. Click Save & Run
This Saved Search will pull all the first
