NSC | Limit Accounting Period Shown when Column Filter is Accounting Period on Customized BS Report
The standard Balance Sheet shows "As Of" Period on its report. When Accounting Period is selected from the Column footer filter, the report will show all the prior periods from the Period selected. However, customer wants to show limited accounting periods only to prevent a timeout error. This will be helpful in minimizing the data shown and allowing the report to run and process faster.
NetSuite provides customization methods for financial statements, including Balance Sheet report. This can be achieved by doing the following:
1. Navigate to Transactions > Financial > Balance Sheet
2. On the Balance Sheet page, click Customize
3. On the Financial Report Builder
