Release 2023.2 end of Support for HTML Code in Saved Search Formula (Text) Fields.
Hi all, last weekend we were upgraded to version 2023.2. Off course we did read the release notes and also did some testing in a Release preview environment. But....for some things you see the real impact only once the actual upgrade has been taken place. One feature which Netsuite changed this release is the end of Support for HTML Code in Saved Search Formula (Text) Fields.
Quite soon after the upgrade our users contacted me about searches, sublists and other area's not working, since the HTML link was not visible anymore.
Luckily this is a easy fix, just replace the 'Formula (Text)' formula with 'Formula (HTML)' formula. However since we use it a lot we did have to update a large number of saved searches. Again Netsuite made this easy for us since they created a specific page 'Saved Searches with HTML in Formula(Text)' (Lists > Search > Saved Searches with HTML in Formula (Text)) which lists all saved searches which are impacted. In our case almost 400 searches :).
