New To NetSuite | Custom Fields: Display
When you are new to NetSuite, there’s no doubt that you will encounter Custom Fields.
First, what are Custom Fields? Custom fields are fields that you can add to your records and transactions to record information specific to your business needs. A lot of companies use this feature as these fields can be created for records or for transactions.
In this topic, we will be discussing the functionalities of the Display subtab on Custom fields.
How to set the display properties of a custom field:
1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New or you can go and open an existing custom field.
