Fixed Asset Partial Disposal
We have an currently depreciating asset, and want to dispose of only part of that asset (it is not set up as a parent/child). If I do a revaluation of the asset, There is concern that it will not capture that share of the accumulated appreciation to date. Should I dispose of the whole asset, and add back in the remainder that I want to continue to capitalize or just do a revaluation?
