New to NetSuite | Setting Up Script Deployments for Themes and Extensions
If you're utilizing the SuiteCommerce Extension Management bundle version 2019.1 or above and are looking to enable a theme or extension, you need to log in as an administrator. However, if the task requires activation by someone with a different role, administrators have the flexibility to configure the customdeploy_ext_mech_installer_event deployment script. This script allows the assignment of this capability to other roles within the system, granting them the necessary permissions to activate themes and extensions.
To set up a role to activate themes and extensions:
- In NetSuite, go to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployments.
