NSC | Create Email Alert for Sales Order Exceeding Quantity Available
Scenario: Users would like to be notified of Sales Orders that exceed Quantity Available.
A Saved Search Alert can be created to show Sales Orders that the Quantity Ordered exceeds the Quantity Available.
Here are the steps we may take to create the Saved Search:
1.Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
2. Select Transaction
3. Under Criteria tab, add the following:
- Type = Sales order
- Main Line = False
- Formula (Numeric) = greater than or equal to 1 | Formula = {quantity}-{item.quantityavailable}
4. Under the Results tab, add the fields:
- Item
- Document Number
- Quantity
- Item Fields… = Available
5. Click Email tab
6. Mark Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated
