NSC | How To Restrict Vendor Bills List to Custom Role?
Scenario: User would like to restrict the Vendor Bill list of a Custom Role in a specific Department.
When a custom Employee role navigate to the List and set the page as follows, they are able to access the full list of all Vendor Bills:
- View = Default
- Type = Bill
- Employee = - All -
- Status = - All -
- Style = Normal
To resolve this, here are the steps we may follow:
- Using your Administrator role, navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
- Edit the Custom Role
- Under Searches > Standard, we add the following:
- Type = Transaction
- List View = My Transcations
- Restricted = Yes
- Click Save
