NSC | How to Create Custom Fields in NetSuite for GL Impact Tab
If you're looking to display specific field values within the GL Impact tab in NetSuite, utilizing Custom Segments or Custom Fields can offer tailored solutions. Here's a guide on how to create custom fields using two different methods:
Option 1: Editing an Account Record
1. Navigate to an Account Record (e.g., Accounts Payable)
2. On the upper-right part of the page, hover over "Customize," then click "New Field."
3. This action will redirect you to the "Other Record Field" setup page, where you can proceed with customizing your field as needed.
Option 2: Utilizing Customization Menu
1. Go to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Other Record Fields > New.
