NSC | Asset Depreciation > Not updating Last Depreciation Date, Last Depreciation Period and NBV
A user encountered a problem with the asset depreciation process in the Fixed Asset Management SuiteApp. Despite successfully running the Asset Depreciation and generating depreciation journals, asset records remained unchanged in critical fields: Last Depreciation Date, Last Depreciation Period, and Net Book Value.
Check if the Stage 4 of the Asset Depreciation process did not update any records due to an issue with linked assets. If this occurs, Depreciation History Records ( DHRs ) have no associated assets or asset values linked to them. Since the system relies on the "Asset Values" field as a key for data retrieval in Stage 4, blank or missing values caused the Map/Reduce function to skip processing those records.
