NSC | Fixed Assets records has missing Files tab
Imagine a situation where a user with a custom role, designed to manage fixed assets, encounters an unexpected hurdle. The "Files" tab, an essential component for document management within the asset record, remains elusive, hindering their task. This issue prompted the need for a detailed investigation, leading to the discovery of a straightforward yet effective solution.
- Using Administrator role, navigate to Fixed Assets > Lists > Assets
- Edit the Asset record
- Hover to Customize located on the upper right side of the page
- Click Customize Form
- Under Subtabs, mark the Show checkbox of the File Cabinet
- Click Save
