NSC | How to Link a Custom Record to a Specific Transaction (Item Fulfillment)
If you've created a custom record in NetSuite and want to link it specifically to the Item Fulfillment record, you might encounter an issue where the custom record appears under the Custom tab for other transactions, like Item Receipt, Transfer Order, or Sales Order. Here's how to restrict the custom record to display only for Item Fulfillment transactions.
Solution: Filter by Transaction Type
To ensure your custom record only appears under the Custom tab of the Item Fulfillment record, you need to filter it by the specific transaction type.
- Edit the Custom Record:
Go to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types
