NSC | How to Enable “Make Copy” for Vendor Records
You want to make a copy of a Vendor record in NetSuite, but you notice that the "Make Copy" option is not available. This commonly happens because Auto-Generated Numbers are not enabled for the Vendor record type.
Solution: Enable Auto-Generated Numbers for Vendors
Follow these steps to enable the feature:
- Navigate to Setup > Company > Auto-Generated Numbers.
- In the Entity tab, locate Vendor.
- Check the box under Use Auto-Generated Numbers.
- Click Save.

Once this is done:
- Go to Lists > Relationships > Vendors.
- Open a Vendor record.
- Click the Actions dropdown.
