NSC | Assembly Build > COGS Adjustment Entry
Scenario
User noticed that there is a COGS Adjustment entry for the Assembly Build record.
Solution
The COGS Adjustment on may be correct, as prior to the creation of the record based on the quantity available for the affected item. Hence, when the assembly was built, it is only correct to zero-out both the quantity available as well as the cost associated to the quantity, to arrive at 0 qty available and 0 cost.
To confirm the above findings, run an Inventory Valuation report for the specific item and I filtered it to the affected location. Below are the steps I followed:
