NSC | Custom Field Types: Currency
In NetSuite, Custom Fields allow users to tailor records and forms to fit specific business needs. These fields can be added to standard or custom records and can be configured in various data types depending on the nature of the data to be stored or captured.
In this article, we'll tackle on the Currency field type.
Description:
The Currency custom field type in NetSuite is used to store numerical values in currency format. You can enter currency amounts in a custom field (maximum 15 digits and 15 decimal points – 999,999,999,999,999.999999999999999).
A custom field of type Currency behaves differently from standard NetSuite currency fields. Specifically, if the Multi-Currency feature is not enabled, the custom currency field remains visible, whereas standard NetSuite currency fields may be hidden.
