NSC | Custom Field Types: Email Address
In NetSuite, Custom Fields allow users to tailor records and forms to fit specific business needs. These fields can be added to standard or custom records and can be configured in various data types depending on the nature of the data to be stored or captured.
In this article, we'll tackle on the Email Address field type.
Description:
The Email Address custom field type allows you to store and validate email addresses on records. This is useful for capturing alternate contacts, departmental emails, notifications routing, or secondary recipients outside of standard NetSuite fields.
Enter an email address in a custom field (maximum 254 characters). The email address field creates a link to open your default email client.
