NSC | Custom Field Types: Inline HTML
In NetSuite, Custom Fields allow users to tailor records and forms to fit specific business needs. These fields can be added to standard or custom records and can be configured in various data types depending on the nature of the data to be stored or captured.
In this article, we'll tackle on the Inline HTML field type.
Description:
An Inline HTML field injects HTML markup into a form. This content can be styled, scripted, or dynamically generated using SuiteScript or form-level scripting. It’s frequently used to enhance form UI, guide users, or display calculated or real-time content.
The field limit of the Inline HTML Field Type is 4000 bytes. In English, 4000 bytes is 4000 characters, but in other languages, the number of characters may be fewer.
