In NetSuite, Custom Fields allow users to tailor records and forms to fit specific business needs. These fields can be added to standard or custom records and can be configured in various data types depending on the nature of the data to be stored or captured.
In this article, we'll tackle on the Long Text field type.
Description:
The Long Text field type in NetSuite is used to store large blocks of plain or formatted text. It is ideal for descriptions, notes, comments, internal memos, or any other type of extended user input.
When you create a long text field type in the UI, the field character limit is 1,000,000. When you create a long text field type using SuiteScript, the field character limit is 100,000.
