NSC | Representing Subsidiary > Resolve Error: "A Representing Entity name must match.."
Scenario
The user was previously able to generate representing subsidiaries without issues, but they are now encountering an error when attempting the same action. They would like to understand the reason for this error and seek guidance on how to resolve it.
Solution
This is usually encountered when a representing entity is being renamed, user will get an error “A Representing Entity name must match the Represented Subsidiary name”. This is a standard behavior for a reason:
- Most of the records or transactions generated by the system is not editable
- Since Representing customer/vendor is just one record renaming it to make difference between vendor and customer will make it a different record and not connected to each other anymore.
