NSC | Transaction Dist.>System Notes Show Diff. Users: Who Created Transaction vs Who Ran the Script
Scenario
When utilizing the Transaction Dist. SuiteApp, user would like to know why do the system notes show that the journal was created by a different user? The system notes on the Bill reflect different users: one who created the transaction and another who executed the Transaction Dist. Processing script. Does the Map/Reduce script randomly select an employee, or are there specific conditions triggering this behavior?
Below is the system notes from the Bill
Below is the log from the Advanced Intercompany Journal created from the Bill
Solution
If the script ran automatically, it should display -system- instead of a user. Please see below the difference if it has been run automatically or manually deployed.
