NSC | Create a Saved Search that will identify Customer Deposits that are applied to Invoice
Scenario
The user wanted to identify Customer Deposits that are applied to Invoices. However, since only Deposit Application records are directly linked to the Invoice and appear under the Related Records tab, the user is having difficulty identifying the exact Customer Deposits applied to each Invoice.
Solution
To create a Saved Search that will show Customer Deposits applied to Invoices, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Report > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New > select Transaction as Search Type
- Add a Search Title
- In Criteria tab > Standard subtab, add the following:
- Type is Deposit Application
- Main Line is False
- Applying Transaction: Type
