NSC | Customized Balance Sheet Is Showing Opposite Amount on Financial Sections
Scenario
The user has been customizing a Balance Sheet report and added financial sections to it. However, they observed that the report displays the opposite amount for these new financial sections. For instance, a journal entry (JE) debiting account 16410 for USD 13,589.04 is shown on the Balance Sheet as USD -13,589.04. The user wants to understand why the amount appears as negative on the report when the transaction is a debit.
Solution
This depends on how the user has configured or customized the rows. They can check in the Financial Section row then on its Format tab and see if Reverse Sign
