New to NetSuite | N/record: record.Macro Object
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: record.Macro Object
A record Macro allows you to run logic on a record that is currently being edited. Unlike a record action (which applies updates immediately to records in view mode), a macro runs during record editing and does not persist changes until the user saves the record.
