New to NetSuite | Disabling the Multi-Subsidiary Customer Feature
In the previous article, we discussed how enabling the Multi-Subsidiary Customerfeature allows administrators to assign multiple subsidiaries to a single customer record.
In this article, we’ll cover how to disable the Multi-Subsidiary Customer feature. There may be situations such as system simplification, organizational restructuring, or changes in business operations where sharing customer records across subsidiaries is no longer necessary. In these cases, turning off the feature can help streamline data management and reduce complexity.
To disable the Multi-Subsidiary Customer feature:
1. Reverse or delete all transactions linked to customers and their secondary subsidiaries.
2. Remove all secondary subsidiaries from affected customer records.
