Scenario: A Journal Entry was created on September 16, 2025 with the following setup:
- Date = August 22, 2025
- Posting Period = August 2025
- Subsidiary = CANADA New Brunswick
- Subsidiary's Base Currency = CAD
- Transaction Currency = AUD
- Exchange Rate = 2.00
- Account = 1100 Accounts Receivable
- General Rate Type per Account record = Current
- Amount = 1,000.00 AUD
- Amount in GL Impact sub-tab (Base Currency) is 2,000.00 CAD which was calculated as follows:
- Amount in Transaction Currency multiplied by Effective Currency Exchange Rate
- 1,000.00 x 2.00
- Amount in GL Impact sub-tab (Base Currency) is 2,000.00 CAD which was calculated as follows:
Root Parent Subsidiary is Parent Holdings Incorporated with a Base Currency of USD.
