New to NetSuite | N/record: record.copy.promise(options) Method
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: record.copy.promise(options) Method
The record.copy.promise(options) method allows to asynchronously create a copy of an existing record. Using promises enables non-blocking execution, which is especially useful for SuiteScript 2.1+ scripts or within contexts where long-running processes could impact performance.
