New to NetSuite | N/record: record.load(options) Method

In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: record.load(options) Method
The record.load(options) method in SuiteScript 2.x is used to load an existing record into memory so your script can read, modify, or process it.
record.load() retrieves a record using its internal ID. Once loaded, you can:
- Read field values
- Update fields
- Add or remove sublist lines
