New to NetSuite | N/record: record.submitFields.promise(options) Method
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: record.submitFields.promise(options) Method
The record.submitFields.promise(options) method is an asynchronous version of the record.submitFields function. It enables you to update specific field values on an existing record without loading the entire record, returning a Promise that resolves when the update is complete.
Use record.submitFields.promise() when you want to:
