NetSuite 2026.1 introduces standardized error codes and clearer error messages for automatic bank imports, replacing inconsistent free-text failure reasons across different import types. These standardized codes also apply to manual imports that use the BAI2 and CSV parsers. 

 

Where you will see the new errors: 

Administrators can find the standardized error codes and messages on: 

  • Banking Import History 
  • Format Profile 
  • Match Bank Data pages 

 

Why this matters to Administrators: 

  • Faster root-cause analysis: Standard error codes make it easier to quickly identify whether the issue is an account-specific parsing error, a file parsing issue, or a broader import-type problem. 
  • Consistent troubleshooting playbooks: With repeatable codes, admins can build internal runbooks
