New to NetSuite | N/record: Column.isMandatory Property
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: Column.isMandatory Property.
The Column.isMandatory property is a Boolean property of the Column object. It is commonly used when working with record sublists, particularly when retrieving or configuring column metadata.
This property indicates whether a sublist column is mandatory, meaning that users must enter a value in that field before the record or sublist line can be saved.
