NSC | Show Total Sales Order Amount on a Project
A user wants to track the total value of Sales Orders created for each Project. For example, if Project A has three Sales Orders for 150, 100, and 50, the report should show Project A with a total Sales Order amount of 300.
Create a saved search that summarizes Sales Order amounts by Project, then validate the results against the Project record and related transactions.
- Go to Reports > New Search > Project.
- On the Criteria subtab, add a filter:
- Transaction : Type is any of Sales Order
- On the Results subtab:
- Keep Name or ID to identify the Project.
- Add a currency formula field:
- Field: Formula (Currency)
