NSC | Customizing the Amortization Forecast Report to Show the Expense Account
A user needs to customize the Amortization Forecast Report to include the expense account used on a vendor bill. This is helpful when reviewing prepaid expenses or deferred costs and confirming where each amortization amount is expected to post.
For example, a vendor bill may be coded to a prepaid account and amortized over several periods, but the user wants the report output to show the related expense account for easier review and reconciliation.
The expense account can be added to the customized report by drilling into the Amortization Schedule fields and selecting the destination account field.
