NSC | Resolve Error: "Not Enough Permissions.." on Quick Add Portlet for Case

Use Case: 
Users may encounter a permission error when attempting to use the Quick Add portlet for Cases in NetSuite. 

This issue can occur when the preferred Case form does not allow field editing on lists. Enabling this setting on the Case entry form resolves the error and allows records to be created through the Quick Add portlet. 

How It Works: 

  1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms 
  2. Locate the preferred Case Form and click Customize or Edit 
  3. Enable the following option: 
  • Field Editing on Lists: Check the box  

4. Click Save 

This will allow users to create Cases successfully through the Quick Add portlet without encountering the permission error.
