NSC | Show System Notes on a Custom Record
Use Case:
Users may notice that System Notes do not appear on a Custom Record even when the Enable System Notes option is enabled.
This can occur when the Show Notes setting is not enabled on the Custom Record type.
How It Works:
- Log in using the Administrator role
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types
- Locate the preferred Custom Record and click the record name
- Enable the following option:
- Show Notes: Check the box
5. Click Save
This will display the Notes subtab on the Custom Record where the System Notes can be viewed.
