NSC | Reporting Vendor Costs per Item in Separate Columns
Scenario:
The user wanted to create a report that displays multiple vendor costs for the same item side-by-side in separate columns for easier comparison. While standard saved searches could display vendor pricing information, the results only showed each vendor price as separate rows rather than consolidating all vendor prices into a single row per item.
Solution:
Standard NetSuite Saved Searches do not natively support a fully pivoted table format where:
- One row represents a single item
- Each vendor price appears in its own separate column
By default, vendor pricing results are displayed as separate rows for each vendor-item combination.
