NSC | Saved Search Showing Different Form Fields and Auto-Populated Date Filters for One User
Scenario:
The user observed that a specific employee was seeing an additional form field and an automatically populated date filter when using a saved search under a particular role. Other employees using the exact same role did not experience this behavior.
Solution:
This behavior is commonly caused by the employee setting the saved search as their “My Preferred Search Form” in NetSuite.
When enabled:
- The saved search becomes customized specifically for that user
- User-specific filters and form settings may automatically populate
- Default values such as date filters can appear automatically
- Other users with the same role will not be affected unless they also enable the same preference
