NSC | Changing the Subscription Line Start Date
Scenario
The user wanted to change the Start Date of other Subscription Line Items to align them with updated contract terms or revised service delivery dates. Adjusting the Start Date ensures accurate billing, proper charge generation, and that each line item reflects the correct activation period as agreed upon with the customer.
Solution
Upon creation of a Subscription, all line items will have the same Line Start Date as the Subscription Start Date. The Subscription Line Start Date can only be updated during the second Activation for the Subscription. If the Line Items are already Activated, you will not be able to change the
