NSC | Subsidiary Record Is Not Showing in Global Search When Set to Inactive

in Accounting / ERP

Scenario

A user marks several subsidiary records as inactive. After doing this, the user notices that the inactive subsidiaries no longer appear in Global Search or Quick Search.

Solution

To show inactive records in Global Search and Quick Search:

  1. Navigate to Home > Set Preferences.
  2. Click the Analytics subtab.
  3. Check Include Inactives in Global & Quick Search.
  4. Click Save.

After this preference is enabled, inactive records can appear in Global Search and Quick Search results.
