NSC | Use NL Tags for Custom Fields in Email Templates

Use Case: 
 
Users may encounter issues sourcing Custom Transaction Body Field values in Standard HTML Layout email templates when using unsupported FreeMarker syntax. 

Using the appropriate NL tags ensures that the correct values are displayed in the email template. 

How It Works: 

Note: 
The Custom Transaction ID may vary depending on the Custom Transaction Body Field being sourced. 

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Form HTML Layouts 
2. Locate the preferred HTML Layout and click Customize or Edit 
3. In the Body section: 
4. Replace: 

<td>${record.custbody}<td/> 

with the appropriate NL tag syntax for the Custom Transaction Body Field. 

5. Click Save
