NSC | Automatically Source Email Templates From a Custom Record
Use Case:
Users may want to store Email Templates in a Custom Record and automatically source the selected template into another transaction record.
This setup allows users to manage reusable email templates centrally and populate them dynamically based on the selected template name.
How It Works:
I. Create a Custom Record for Email Templates
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records & Fields > Record Types > New
- Enter the following:
- Name: Enter a name - Click Save & Edit
- Click the Fields tab
- Click New Field
- Enter the following:
- Label: Email Template
- Store Value: Check the box
- Type: Long Text
7. Click Save & New
8. Create another field:
