NSC | Display Transaction Currency on the Main Section of Records
Use Case:
Users may want to display the transaction currency directly on the Main section of transaction records for easier visibility.
This can be achieved by creating a Custom Transaction Body Field that sources the transaction currency dynamically.
How It Works:
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New
- Enter the following:
- Label: Enter a label
- Type: Select Free-Form Text
- Store Value: Remove the checkmark
3. Click the Applies To tab:
- Purchase: Check the box
- Sale: Check the box
4. Click the Display tab:
- Subtab: Select Main
5. Click the Validation & Defaulting tab:
- Default Value:{currency}
- Formula: Check the box
