New to NetSuite | Custom Fields: Show in List
When creating custom fields in NetSuite, the Show in List option controls whether the field appears as a column in record list views.
This setting is useful when administrators want users to quickly view important information directly from list pages without opening individual records.
In this article, we will be discussing this setting using Transaction Body Fields.
Example Scenario:
An administrator created a custom field on a Sales Order but could not see the field in the transaction list view.
The administrator wanted the field to appear as a column so users could view the information without opening each record.
