Why is this UG so darn slow?

This UG is the only site that I use on a daily basis that is slower than NS. I just did a search for an old thread and I got this...

Search Results: 500 results in 26.4888 seconds.



Half a minute for a UG search?

Then I click on "Today's Post" and get...

Search Results: 39 results in 25.6776 seconds.



So, even a search with a small result set will still bog it down.
